Tallahassee prides itself on the city’s strong sense of community, and faith plays a major role in developing that. In addition to Baptist, Catholic, Methodist and Pentecostal churches, other places of worship include three synagogues, two mosques, a Hindu temple, several Buddhist meditation groups and a number of campus ministries. The International House of Prayer – an organization that welcomes everyone, no matter your faith – offers a prayer and worship room during weekdays. Also, the city is home to a number of bible colleges, including the Center for Biblical Studies and Gulf Coast College, which offer continuing Christian education. No matter your denomination, rest assured that Tallahassee has a place of worship for everyone.
