The Council on Culture & Arts (COCA): COCA’s mission is to serve and support the community by promoting and advocating for arts and culture in Florida’s capital region.









Fitness Groups
Fitness is more fun with friends! Connect with one of the many Tallahassee fitness groups to try a new workout routine, keep you on track to your fitness goals, or meet new people with similar interests.
Black Girls Run! Tallahassee: In 2009, Black Girls RUN! was created in an effort to tackle the growing obesity epidemic in the African-American community and provide encouragement and resources to both new and veteran runners. The mission of Black Girls RUN! is to encourage African-American women to make fitness and healthy living a priority.
F3: The Mission of F3 is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership. There are several groups that meet weekly in Tallahassee, and it’s free!
Gulf Winds Track Club: This club encourages health and fitness, especially through participation in jogging and running, whether for competition, physical fitness, or pleasure. They exchange information about health, fitness, and running to encourage individuals to pursue opportunities to participate and compete in races and other fitness activities and to provide organized events in which interested individuals may participate.
Gulf Winds Triathletes: Their goal is for all athletes, regardless of age, gender, or experience, to feel supported in the journey towards achieving their multi-sport goals.
Move Tallahassee: A group of walkers who meet 2 – 3 times a month for planned walks. They encourage walkers of all levels and have a turnout of between 50-200 walkers a meet-up!
Tallahassee Ultimate League: Tallahassee Ultimate League is dedicated to the growth and promotion of the sport of Ultimate Frisbee in Tallahassee and the surrounding areas.

Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce: The Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce seeks to strengthen and infuse the local economic and entrepreneurial ecosystems by providing the support needed to empower, stimulate, grow and sustain business enterprises owned and operated by women and minorities. The BBMC works to fill the gaps in opportunities for these targeted groups by providing a comprehensive menu of programs and services.

NAT20 (Nerds Around Tallahassee): This is a networking group that focuses on people who self-identify as nerds (techies, accountants and everyone in between is welcome)! They meet every couple of months for different social events around Tallahassee.

Tallahassee Disc Golf Association (TDGA): The Tallahassee Disc Golf Association (TDGA), Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in May, 2011 to promote and expand the sport of disc golf within the City of Tallahassee and surrounding areas.
Tallahassee Pickleball Association: There are hundreds of Pickleball players in Florida’s Big Bend area. Tallahassee Pickleball Association, Inc. has been formed to bring these players together in one organization that can work with the government and the business community to provide much-needed improvements and access to Pickleball courts and services.
Tallahassee Tennis Association: The purpose of the Tallahassee Tennis Association (TTA) is to organize, promote and grow the sport of tennis at all ability levels and for all populations in the greater Tallahassee area.
