On Saturday, September 19, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, join us for our Fall Family Fun Day. We will host a children’s book reading of “Big Dance” by Aoife Greenham, followed by a fun dance performance. Afterward, hang out for refreshments and drop-in tours of our current exhibitions.

“Big Dance” was written and illustrated by Aoife Greenham. It follows Pippa as she watches her friends express themselves through dance and learns how she, too, can express herself with her own special dance moves.
During this reading and dance activity, kids and parents will have a chance to connect with one of our current exhibits on display: “Floating Metal: UNDERcurrents In My Father’s Garden.” In which nia love engages with her father Ed Love’s artistic legacy as a major sculptor of the Black Arts generation, this newest iteration reckons with the vexed matter of inheritance in Afro-diasporic history.
This event is for visitors 16 and under and their families. All materials will be provided, and free parking will be available in the Call St Garage.
